A ride with the boats Kapp Linné and Tempel is an adventure on its own as you fly on the open sea, from wave to wave, passing bird cliffs, seals, walrus or maybe polar bears. The wind on your face, howling in your ears. It is a feeling of freedom and the adrenalin is pumping.
From June to September the only way to travel to our remote outposts is by boat. When you choose an open Polarcirkel boat you get transport and adventure at the same time. With sea spray and crisp arctic winds in your face you get as close to the elements as possible as you fly from wave to wave.

The Polarcirkel boats are used for fjord safaris and transport to your next destination in the Isfjord area. They are also available for private hire and transport.

A wide fjord opens at 78°N on the west coast of Spitsbergen. Looking north you will see the distinct sailing mark Alkhornet. Looking south you will find Isfjord Radio Adventure Hotel, your home far away from home. Isfjorden is a gigantic fjord complex with cultural monuments from all Svalbard’s historical periods.
