On her way to Svalbard, Linden will visit local Danish and Norwegian communities in search of exciting food, giving our chef opportunities to prepare healthy and hearty meals with a creative twist. It is important for us that the food we use is real whole food.
Is food one of your pleasures? Our chef would like to surprise your tastes. On her way to Svalbard, Linden will visit local Danish and Norwegian communities in search for local and delicious food from artisanal producers and small local businesses. We will stock up on organic and wild local food from Norway and Svalbard. We have established contact with local trappers in Svalbard to procure immediate local ingredients such as reindeer, seal, and more. We will also keep our fishing rods and other equipment ready to use. All food is carefully selected from primary producers and distributors.
This will provide opportunities to prepare healthy and hearty meals with a culinary creative twist. We look forward to dig deep into the polar history and recreate versions of some of the menus of explorers, trappers and other heroes.
