On-site COVID-19 Tests for Basecamp Explorer Kenya Guests
As travel begins to resume around the world and guests return to our camps, it is our top priority to ensure that we update you with the latest travel requirements.
With borders opening more countries are now requiring negative COVID-19 test results from individuals as they board flights to their country. As a solution to this new measure, Basecamp Explorer Kenya will offer on-site COVID-19 tests for all in-house guests who are required to present documented results before entering their country of residence.
We have also set up a partnership with an accredited medical testing laboratory that will facilitate in providing Trusted Travel (TT) verification code for guests as required. Please take a look at this Travel Guide by Kenya’s Ministry of Health. Testing will be facilitated by a qualified Clinical Officer, stationed at our camp and the test results will be available within 48 hrs at a cost of USD 250 per person.
The COVID-19 testing is currently available for guests staying at any of our open safari camps including Basecamp Masai Mara, Eagle View, from Monday to Saturday early morning. We advise all our guests to discuss their travel plans and testing requirements at the time of booking. We will strictly follow further government requirements to keep our guests updated and with the best options, we can provide.
