THE ENJOOLATA CENTRE
We are proud to announce that the construction of the long-awaited Enjoolata Centre is underway at Basecamp Masai Mara. The Enjoolata Center is an education and entertainment centre which aims to inspire the Maasai community to come together to make a difference through awareness creation.
The centre’s design will incorporate facilities such as a video editing room where you can edit the images and videos taken during your safari with Basecamp, a library that will provide books and videos on wildlife, a movie hall featuring videos about wildlife and uniquely selected classics and a workshop for the Basecamp Maasai Brand (BMB) women.
The Enjoolata Centre will introduce you to the Maasai culture which will be done by presenting the Maasai people and their way of life as well as the wildlife who have roamed the Masai Mara plains for generations alongside the Maasai people.
To enrich the children’s learning process while providing you with a glimpse of what the African Savannah has to offer, we will have on display various items such as animal dung, leaves, footprints and smaller wildlife like snakes.
Upon its completion, a visit to the Enjoolata Centre will be one of the memorable experiences you will remember during your safari adventure with Basecamp.
