IN NAIROBI
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), our driver will be waiting to welcome you to Kenya and to transfer you to your next destination. At Wilson Airport, a domestic airport in Nairobi is a 20- 45 minute drive from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Depending on the traffic, you will start your flight to our camps in the Masai Mara Game Reserve and Mara Naboisho Conservancy as soon as you get to the airport. The duration of the flight to our camps is approximately 1 hour. Please confirm with your travel agent if your holiday rate is inclusive of domestic flights.
IN MASAI MARA
Once you arrive at the airstrip in the savannah, our Maasai guide will welcome you to your first safari experience in the wild! We will transfer you to our camps as you enjoy a leisurely game drive en route. If you have booked our Basecamp Circuit safari experience, we will take care of all the transport between the different camps, while enjoying a game drive along the way.
HOW TO TRAVEL TO MASAI MARA BY ROAD
Driving to Nkoilale from Nairobi
If you are driving to Eagle View or Leopard Hill, head out of Nairobi passed Westlands towards Narok then proceed to Nkoilale.
The drive from Nairobi to Nkoilale is approximately 4 hours (236 km).
You will stop at Nkoilale where our Maasai guide will pick you up for onward transfer to Eagle View or Leopard Hill.
Driving to Basecamp Masai Mara from Nairobi through Sekenani Gate
If you are driving to Basecamp Masai Mara through Sekenani Gate, head out of Nairobi passed Westlands towards Narok then processed to Sekenani Gate.
The drive from Nairobi to Sekenani Gate is approximately 4 hours (231 km).
Once at Sekenani Gate, proceed to drive for approximately 40 minutes to Basecamp Masai Mara (19.8 km)
