Taste of MARA NABOISHO

Naboisho Conservancy is a private conservancy limiting the number of tourists who can explore its 53,000 acres so you may find yourself coming upon lions and other wildlife with no one else around. This makes for a very personal safari experience with the flexibility to engage in an array of activities for a perfect getaway safari! Your Safari Adventure is closer than you think. For travellers with limited time, we have designed an express program comprising the very best of the Mara Naboisho.

Day 1

Your adventure begins upon touch down at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta Airport where our driver guide will pick and transfer you to Wilson Airport for a scheduled flight to Masai Mara. Upon arriving at Naboisho Airstrip, one of our friendly and knowledgeable Maasai guide will take you on your very first game drive and introduce you to the exceptional wildlife of Naboisho Conservancy, which includes thriving populations of lions, elephants, cheetahs and leopards. Arrive at Eagle View, in time for lunch. Enjoy a freshly prepared lunch while taking in the exceptional views from our airy dining area. In the late afternoon join your Maasai guide for an afternoon game drive. Return to camp for dinner, followed by story-sharing around the fireplace

Day 2

Venture out on an adventurous day, enjoy morning and evening game drives. After lunch, accompany your Maasai guide on a visit to Koiyaki Guiding School, located next to Eagle View Camp. Several of our Maasai Guides are graduates from KGS and we continue to work closely with the school to empower the local youth. Wind up your afternoon game drive watching the sun sinking slowly over the Mara plains. Enjoy a night game drive en-route to camp. Spot the nocturnal wildlife of Naboisho. Night Safari is a truly exhilarating experience, only permitted inside private conservancies.

Day 3

Today head out into the wild on foot, on a full day walking safari. During the walk, your Maasai guide will teach you some of the finer details of the savannah, including how to identify animal footprints and different kinds of dung.  Around mid-day, your guide will locate a suitable acacia tree where you can relax and refuel on a picnic lunch. Your walk will continue when the temperature cools down, returning to camp in time for a well-deserved three-course dinner and rest around the fireplace, reflecting on the experiences of the day.
