Enjoy privacy, exclusivity and magnificent views while staying in our camps that merge with nature and offers a perfect place to relax. The wide open plains of Mara Naboisho is one of Africa’s prime game viewing destination with abundant wildlife and dramatic scenery. When you experience the heart of Africa on such a scale, you will never want to leave.

Day 1

Your safari starts with a touch down at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta Airport. Our driver guide will transfer to Wilson Airport for a scheduled flight to Masai Mara. On arrival, you will be met by our Masai guide for transfer to Eagle View in Mara Naboisho. Mara Naboisho is a community-owned nature conservancy bordering the Masai Mara National Reserve. The seemingly endless plains of Mara Naboisho are dotted with wildebeests, zebras among other wildlife. Arrive at Eagle View in time for lunch. You will have some time to settle into your tented room before joining your guide on a late evening game drive for an exciting game viewing adventure.

Day 2

Spend most of the day partaking in safari activities. Your day starts with an early morning game drive when the wildlife are most active. You then return to camp for a hearty breakfast and have some free time to relax and enjoy the camp’s environ. We have a collection of interesting safari books and puzzles to keep you entertained. After lunch, head out on your afternoon game drive, trying to see species you’ve yet to encounter. Enjoy Basecamp sundowners in the bush before heading back for a delicious meal, sharing tales from your day with fellow guests.

Day 3

Join your guide for an early morning walking safari. Experience how the Maasai people live in the middle of the bush with plains game grazing and lions roaring just outside their homes and get to know their culture and customs. While at camp take time to enjoy your unparalleled surroundings at Eagle View.  In the afternoon visit our community project – Koiyaki Guiding School where young Maasai’s learn about conservation and wildlife guiding skills. Later you will be transferred to Leopard Hill with a game drive en-route. Arrive at the camp for dinner set in our stylish dining tent offering inspiring views of the savannah and the mystical double fig tree. End your day with a stargazing experience right inside your tent where you have a retractable roof that gently slides back for a perfect nightly scene.

Day 4

Wake up at dawn to an array of optional safari activities including an early morning self-instructed yoga, morning game drive or a walking safari. As the camp is situated in a private conservancy the number of camps and vehicles here is strictly limited, offering an exclusive safari experience. You also want to treat yourself to a relaxing massage session in the comfort of your tent (at an extra cost book with reception). During your evening game drive, enjoy a Basecamp sundowner of drinks and nibbles as you watch dusk gently deepening around you and the sun sinking slowly over the Mara plains. Extend your safari adventure into the twilight in an effort to spot the fascinating nocturnal creatures.

Day 5

Make the most of your last day engaging in optional safari activities either a morning game drive or a guided walking safari for the better part of the morning before heading back to camp for breakfast.  After breakfast have a laid back break as you pack your personal belongings. In the afternoon bid your Maasai host goodbye. Your transfer to the airstrip will include a game drive en-route so keep your camera ready as never know when the lion cubs may turn up! Reach the Naboisho Air Strip in time for your scheduled 4 pm flight, the perfect departure time for international connections.

Equipment and Clothing

Comfortable safari clothes – avoid white due to the dust, warm sweater or fleece for the evenings, wind and waterproof jacket, solid hiking boots for the walking safari, comfortable footwear for the game drives, binoculars, sunscreen, sun hat & sunglasses, a good book, camera and extra battery, headlight, mosquito repellent for protection while outdoors, pack in solid soft bag.
