Arrive in Nairobi where you will be transferred to Wilson Airport to catch a 45-minute flight to Masai Mara. Your Masai guide will meet you at the airstrip and transfer you to our camp in Masai Mara. Basecamp Masai Mara sits on a picturesque bend along the Talek River in one of the most game-rich areas of the Masai Mara Reserve. Watch out for the herd of elephants and listen to the distinctive lion’s roar. Head back to camp for breakfast. Later, you will visit the Enjoolata Centre where we have some community projects supported by Basecamp, the Basecamp Masai Brand a Fairtrade-certified handicraft business that enables Maasai women to apply their beading skills to produce and sell their handcrafted products, providing them with a reliable source of their own income. In the afternoon depart to Eagle View in Mara Naboisho Conservancy with a game drive en-route.

Day 3

Start your day with a well-deserved breakfast then depart from Eagle View on a half-day walking safari across the savannah. Walking with the Maasai is an unforgettable experience that is only allowed inside private conservancies such as Naboisho. You will move at a relaxed pace observing wildlife behavior and interactions. Spend two to three hours following game paths then have a short rest under the clear blue African skies. Enjoy snack delights before resuming your walk. Arrive at Eagle View in time for lunch. After lunch, enjoy some downtime in your room as you take in panoramic views of the conservancy from the spacious tents. Later, join your guide for an afternoon game drive to witness some of the wildlife Mara Naboisho is known for. Return to camp in time for a mouth-watering three-course dinner, followed by story sharing and stargazing around the fireplace.
