Enjoy wildlife interactions from the comfort of your tent with this 3-day safari in Mara Naboisho Conservancy. The wide open plains of Naboisho is one of Africa’s prime game viewing destination playing host to a variety of plains game that attracts predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs and wild dogs whose intense interactions are a thrill to watch.

Day 1

Upon your arrival in Nairobi, you will be transferred by your driver to Wilson Airport for your flight to Mara Naboisho Conservancy. The Conservancy is located within 50,000 hectares of the pristine wilderness a true escape. Explore the wildlife-rich Mara Naboisho Conservancy, a conservancy formed to protect the pristine wildlife area and safeguard the Mara ecosystem while providing a source of livelihood for the Maasai people. Arrive at Leopard Hill in time for lunch. Later, settle in and soak up the tranquility of the African bush. Walk around the camp and get to know more about your new home for the next few days. Wind up your first day in the bush with an afternoon game drive that includes a stopover for a sunset sundowner as dusk gently deepens around you. Back at camp enjoy dinner and storytelling around the camp fireplace.

Day 2

The rosy dawn is the perfect time to observe as Naboisho’s cycle of life slowly unfolds. Together with your guide, you will head out on a morning and afternoon game drive to explore the rare sights and wonders of the bush. The camp is situated in a private conservancy the number of camps and vehicles here is strictly limited, offering an exclusive safari experience. While on your evening game drive, extend your safari adventure into the twilight in an effort to spot the fascinating nocturnal creatures. End your day with a stargazing experience right inside your tent where you have a retractable roof that gently slides back for a perfect nightly scene.

Day 3

Join your guide for an early morning walking safari. Experience how the Maasai people live in the middle of the bush with plains game grazing and lions roaring just outside their homes and get to know their culture and customs. As you walk along, you will also learn about the plants used to make traditional medicine. Return to camp for breakfast. Take some time to gather your belongings. After lunch, say your goodbyes. Enjoy one last game drive on your way to Ol Seki Airstrip where you will catch your flight to Nairobi and onto your connecting flight to your next destination. As you depart think of the memories of communing with man and nature.

Equipment and Clothing

Comfortable safari clothes – avoid white due to the dust, warm sweater or fleece for the evenings, wind and waterproof jacket, solid hiking boots for the walking safari, comfortable footwear for the game drives, binoculars, sunscreen, sun hat sunglasses, a good book, camera and extra battery, headlight, mosquito repellent for protection while outdoors, pack in solid soft bag.
