6 Days Safari to Masai Mara and Diani Beach

This safari combines two very different destinations in one seamless safari. Spend a few days experiencing exceptional game viewing in the heart of Africa’s most iconic game reserves, Masai Mara, and then round off the adventure with a beach holiday on Kenya’s best beach, Diani Beach to soak up some sunshine along tropical beaches. Kick back in the soft white sand shaded by coconut fronds as you engage in a range of water sports like sailing, windsurfing, snorkeling and swimming with dolphins. This is the ultimate bush and beach safari experience!

Day 1

Your adventure begins upon landing at Olkiombo Airstrip. You will be met by our skilled Maasai guide ready to take you through your first game drive en-route to our camp. After lunch, you will have time to unpack and settled in as you explore your surroundings. Later, meet with your guide for your first afternoon game drive for some of the best wildlife sightings that Masai Mara National Reserve has to offer. Wasini Island is a gateway to an underwater wonderland. It is also a great place for water sports. You can try scuba diving and snorkeling and discover the colorful ocean life that lives here. You may also try swimming with dolphins. Enjoy a traditional lunch, served Swahili-style on the beach. As you eat, keep your eyes on the waves for dolphins coming to play. Spend the afternoon at leisure sunbathing on the island. After a short siesta, board the Arab dhow to sail back to Diani. Return to the resort for dinner. Later unwind at the Beach Bar, which is perfectly located to overlook the ocean. A nice place to enjoy cocktails, fresh fruit juices, aperitifs and good music.
