Located in a secluded valley in Mara Naboisho Conservancy, Leopard Hill is a modern safari camp offering stunning views of the surrounding savannah and wildlife. Right in front of the camp are views of historically and culturally significant Masai Mara Fig Trees and three wildlife-abundant watering holes. This twin tree, dubbed ‘Double Fig Tree’, was struck by lightning in the 1950s, as told by the local people. The tree was splintered in two, giving it its unusual shape. Built almost under this Fig Tree, the camp has the perfect sunrises. While enjoying your morning coffee on the terrace, you can witness as the sun rises over the eastern horizon, the sky blazing in magnificent colors, completed by the majestic silhouette of the Double Fig Tree.
The accommodation at Leopard Hill, are inspired by the round Maasai houses called Manayattas, providing an almost 360-degree view of the stunning surroundings. With a total of six tents – four spacious deluxe tents, a family tent and a honeymoon tent, guests staying at Leopard Hill enjoy an exclusive and private safari experience. The tents are tastefully designed and furnished, adorned with handcrafted items that seamlessly blend African elements with contemporary touches. Each tent offers a king-size double or a king-size bed separated into twin beds, a bathroom featuring bio-flush toilets and two showers, one inside and one open-air safari shower, in-room Wifi, a private elevated viewing deck, and a fireplace with exceptional views of Naboisho Conservancy.
