In 2016 Basecamp Spitsbergen was nominated as one of the three leading tourism companies in Norway.
For Basecamp Spitsbergen, our motto is “Touch of Madness.” We love to test the limits of regularity and come up with experiences out of normal. Over the years this has striven us to come up extremely innovative concepts like Isfjord Radio, Ship in the Ice and the newcomer; North Pole Camp. For the years of innovative work Basecamp Spitsbergen was awarded by the nomination for the “Reiselivsprisen 2016”. We are so proud of the achievement!
