A summer night at Isfjord Radio

Day 1, 08:30 Pick up outside Basecamp Spitsbergen hotel and transport to our polarcirkel boat. On the route, we have time to enjoy the fantastic fjord and animal life. After check in, we are served a 2 course warm lunch. After lunch, we start the boat safari. Our route will be east along the coastline before crossing Isfjorden by kapp Starostin and go straight to the mighty Trygghamna and Alkehornet with thousands of nesting birds. When back at Isfjord Radio, we'll be served a 3 course dinner. Accommodation in double rooms.

Day 2, 08:00 Breakfast and a new day with experiences. At 09:00, we go for a walk east of the fantastic coastline. Our guide will tell stories about our old hunters and their tough life up here at Svalbard. Our guide teaches us about the geology, flowers and animal life in the area. After one more interesting trip, we return to Isfjord Radio and a 2-course lunch before we return to Longyearbyen. Arrival Longyearbyen approx 15:00

Minimum 2, maximum 10 persons, Children: minimum 6 years. The expedition is not recommended if you have low back pain.
