A true Svalbard experience

At the Kennel in Bolterdalen you will meet our Alaskan Huskies, the friendliest of all trekking dogs.
Here we have a timber hut with a fireplace and room for 25 persons where we hold events with meals, Svalbard-evening with a 4 course dinner, presentations, and the opportunity to stay for the night if you seek a true Svalbard experience.

Here we have 70 happy trekking dogs who loves being taken out on trips and will appreciate a little attention.
You may arrange to accompany our handler who feeds the dogs daily. Our trips and activities are arranged so that all our guests will get to know the dogs.

Your own sleigh

On our trips with the dog sleigh you will pick the dogs you prefer and be responsible for strapping them in front of the sleigh. We consider the contact with the dogs, which are easy to master, as an important part of the experience. At the introduction trips and the trips in the Ice grottos 2 persons will ride together while on longer expeditions you will have your own sleigh for which you will be responsible.
There will of course be seasoned guides nearby at all times if you need assistance.
