Mas Can Rigall is built in stones and with the ivy covering parts of its giant stone walls. The main building dates back from the end of the 19th century giving the ambience of rustique and rural comfort, designed the traditional Catalan style. The house is a classical Catalan mas with a big main building where both people and cattle used to live. Stone by stone it has now undergone major reconstruction work and has been turned into a guest house, an auberge, accommodating as many as 25 people. The mas is situated on the slopes of Bel Match (1280m) with many forest paths to stroll or ride. Watch Canigou while swimming in the pool, enjoy an aperitif at one of the stone terraces or take your book and a blanket to the lush flower meadows. Its charm, its character and its history makes it an ideal place for peace and reflection.

Solarheating system for water, solarpanels for parts of the operations and biodiesel use are part of the eco technology used at Can Rigall. A reforestation plan is being developed. Trees have been planted in order to reforest the mountain slopes with the Cork Oak trees, almost extinct during the middle of the 20th century ages due to being used as firewood in the iron mines. Only indigenous flowers and trees being planted. The traditional Catalan mas construction have been safeguarded while renovating the main buidling, keeping its characteristics of an almost two hundred year old farm. A Catalan design grammar has been developed giving its interior and exterior a genuine mountain farm ambience using the traditional fabrics, colours and furniture.
