Day to day program
Two-day summer adventure at Basecamp Isfjord Radio
Day 1: Early morning pick up outside Basecamp Trapper´s Lodge and transport to our expedition boat. En route, we have time to enjoy the fantastic fjord and animal life. After check in, we are served a two-course warm lunch. After lunch, it's time to stretch our legs. We spend the afternoon in the vincinity of hte bird sanctuary to have a closer look at wildlife. When back at Isfjord Radio, we'll be served a three-course dinner. Accommodation in double rooms. Sleep if you want to, but remember - its light all night...!
Day 2, Breakfast, a new day, and new experiences! After breakfast we go for a walk along the exposed coastline. Our guide will tell stories about the old hunters and their tough life up here at Svalbard. Our guide teaches us about the geology, flowers and animal life in the area. We return to Basecamp Isfjord Radio and a two-course lunch before return by boat to Longyearbyen. Arrival Longyearbyen in the afternoon.

Three-day summer adventure at Basecamp Isfjord Radio
Day 1, Early morning pickup outside Basecamp Trapper´s Lodge and transport to our polarcirkel boat. On the route, we have time to enjoy the fantastic fjord and animal life. After check in, we are served a 2 course warm lunch. Now we are ready for a nice walk to the lake Linne. Our guide teach us about the geology, flowers and animal life. Now we are ready to walk along the fantastic Isfjord to the Linne area. Warm drinks an biscuits will be served. Back at Basecamp Isfjord Radio, we will be served a 3 course dinner. Accommodation in double rooms.
Day 2, We start the day with a solid breakfast, and start the boat safari afterwards. Our route will be east along the coastline before crossing Isfjorden by kapp Starostin and go straight to the mighty Alkehornet with thousands of nesting birds. In Trygghamna we go ashore and start with an expedition lunch at the beach. After lunch, we start the walk against the fantastic Esmark glacier in Ymerbukta. If we are lucky, we might observe whales, seals or the king of the artic, the polar bear.
Day 3, Breakfast, and a new day with experiences. We go for a walk east of the fantastic coastline. Our guide will tell stories about old hunters and their tough life up here at Svalbard. Our guide teaches us about the geology, flowers and animal life in the area. After one more interesting trip, we return to Basecamp Isfjord Radio and a 2-course warm lunch before we return to Longyearbyen. Arrival Longyearbyen in the afternoon.
