Day to day program
Day itinerary as follows:
Day 1: Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Pick up by our professional Driver Guide. Proceed by road to Masai Mara. Arrive at Basecamp roughly for lunch; welcome briefing by management and staff. Afternoon game drive and magic moments out in the grass savannah or maybe along the beautifully meandering Talek River. Return to camp before sunset, sit around the campfire, and hear the sounds of the night. Dinner and overnight Basecamp
Day 2: Have your wake up morning tea or coffee in the dining or by your tent. Go for an early morning game drive and watch the savannah waking up. Return to camp for a full breakfast, Enjoy a guided tour on foot to Talek, the neighbouring Maasai community. Visit the local school, the health dispensary and the tree plantations. Through this excursion you will discover more about the neighbourhood and the co-operation with Basecamp Masai Mara and the Talek community. You will also be given an opportunity to sign up for sponsorship to any of our community-based projects. Tree planting activities also offered. Have lunch in the open-air restaurant, treat yourself with a siesta and prepare for another game drive in the afternoon. Sit by the campfire, story telling by the Maasai.

Day 3: Go for a half-day game drive; see new areas of the vast Masai Mara. Have your picnic breakfast under a tree, return to camp in time for lunch. Take a guided camp walk, learn more about sustainable tourism in practice and meet the women doing beadwork at the Maasai Arts & Crafts training centre. Afternoon game drive,

Day 4: This day you will explore Masai Mara in totality, have a late breakfast, pick your packed lunches and depart for a full day game drive.
Reach the Famous Mara River where thousands of Wildebeest cross during migration as they leave Serengeti to Masai Mara.
Have lunch under a natural tree as you watch the plain wildlife.
Take your sweet time back and arrive at the Camp late afternoon.

Day 5: A day of low energy and an optional morning game drive will be provided for the willing persons. A day to learn more about our sustainable projects, take time to mix with the women doing bead works, Walk inside the camp and understand how tourism and business can be done.
Afternoon at leisure, game drive provided on request
Dinner and Overnight-Basecamp Masai Mara
Day 6: Optional early morning game drive, return to camp in time for breakfast.
Check out from your tent and have lunch and prepare for a true bush adventure. Depart for Wilderness camp with a game viewing drive on route. Arrive and check in your cabins. A short walk can be done if time allows.
Dinner and overnight-Wilderness camp
Day 7: Early morning walking safari, feel the cool air of the morning. Learn how to interpret tracks and subtle signs of the wildlife. Return to wilderness in time for a well-deserved breakfast.
Afternoon depart for the afternoon game viewing drive or guided walk including to Koiyaki Guiding school.
Dinner and overnight-Wilderness Camp
Day 8: Breakfast at leisure and then depart for Nairobi. Arrive in Nairobi and Proceed to connecting flights.
