Sunbirds, Flycatchers, Kingfishers and Weavers. All of them resident within the Basecamp compound. The Mara is somewhat of a birdwatcher’s heaven. More than 550 species can be seen in the Mara and up to 200 in the immediate vicinity of the camp. Experience the colourful and fantastic bird-life that surrounds the camp and along the river Talek. Bring our telescope and be amazed by the variety of species. The walks are conducted by specially trained Maasai guides. Bird list and bird books available.
