This road trip offers a wonderful scenery of the central highlands of Kenya, the scenic freshwater Lake Naivasha, dramatic cliffs of Hell’s Gate and nearby craggy crater rim of Mount Longonot. You can easily spot numerous grazing wild animals in their natural habitat. We effectively tailor make our safari program to suit every guest’s preferences.

Day 1

Your safari to Masai Mara commences with a pick up from your Nairobi hotel. You will be met and assisted by our driver guide for transfer by road to Masai Mara National Reserve. Board our minivan safari vehicle with specially modified suspension, full-length photographic roof hatches to commence on your trip. You will have a brief stopover at View Point along Mai Mahui Road. This is where you will view interesting attractions such as the Rift valley with its vast vegetation and the sun rays kissing the far and wide stretching mountains in the surrounding. Don’t forget to take some incredible photography shots. Proceed to Narok Town for a quick tour of the town before continuing the journey to Masai Mara. You will arrive at Basecamp Masai Mara for lunch. Basecamp Masai Mara is located along Talek River that acts as a natural border to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy lunch prepared by the camp chef. Thereafter settle into your tent. You can take a walk around the camp compound, while you take in the tranquility of Basecamp Masai Mara. After your break, you will embark on your first afternoon game drive in Mara as it is popularly known. Hop onto one of our open and tailor-made 4×4 Safari Land Cruisers. The Masai Mara hosts the highest and varied concentration of wild animals than any other park in the region. Transverse the plains in search of the Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo and other members of the Big five. As the sun sets you will return to camp for dinner and chat with the Masai around the campfire. After a long day, you will retire to our comfortable tents, for a hot shower and good night rest.
