7 Days Safari to Masai Mara and Diani Beach

Basecamp Explorer offers a full range of safari activities, carefully developed to create the ultimate safari experience for our guests. Our Mara to Diani safari program lets you delight in unending views of pristine wilderness, of the Masai Mara, followed by some rest & relaxation in the crystal clear waters of Indian Ocean and on the white sands of Diani Beach.

Day 1

Start off your adventure at Wilson Airport where you will board a flight to Mara Naboisho. As you disembark your plane at Olseki Airstrip, you will be met by one of our friendly and knowledgeable Maasai Guides ready to take you on your very first Game Drive. Mara Naboisho Conservancy is a 50,000 hectares private wildlife conservancy. It is home to one of the highest lion densities in the world. Board our custom made 4×4 Safari vehicle. During your safari in this less-explored corner of the Mara ecosystem you will enjoy a game drive in ultimate seclusion. Arrive at Wilderness Camp in time for lunch. This camp is tucked away deep inside the incomparable Saddle Valley. It is our tribute to safari as it was meant to be. After lunch, settle in your room as you enjoy panoramic views of the conservancy from the spacious tents. Later, you will join your guide for an afternoon game drive to witness some of the wildlife like wildebeest, zebras, antelopes, elephants and giraffes in their natural habitat. Return to camp in time for a mouth-watering three-course dinner, followed by story sharing and stargazing around the fireplace. When you are ready, retire to your tent and be lulled to sleep by the sounds of the savannah.
