Talek Market days are full of life with Maasai women dressed in their very best; red and blue dresses paired up with pretty jewelry around the forehead, neck, arms, and ankles trying to sell their goods to willing customers.

Over hundred thousand shillings are exchanged here every Wednesday while trading livestock. This has made Talek market very important in the region’s economy.
